Und von dort aus erreicht ihr jeden Winkel der Altstadt bequem zu Fuß – beispielsweise das Melanchthonhaus, die Leucorea, die Stadtkirche St. Marien, den Marktplatz mit den Statuen Martin Luthers und Philipp Melanchthons, die Cranach-Häuser und -Höfe, den Luthergarten und die Schlosskirche.

Zahlreiche Restaurants, Cafés und Bars verführen hier außerdem mit ihren regionalen und internationalen Speisen und Getränken.
